Optic Installation Instructions

GATHER EVERYTHING NEEDED BEFORE STARTING:

- Degreaser: Isopropyl Alcohol

- Mounting Screws: Included from Battle Werx (ensure labeled screw bag matches the optic/cut being mounted)

- Battery and Sealing Plate (Only Applicable for Trijicon RMR/RMRcc)

- Thread locker: Blue Medium Strength Permatex 242 or Loctite 242

- Tools: Correct Torx or Hex driver bit (identified on mounting hardware bag) and Inch-pound torque driver

CLEAN MOUNTING SCREWS AND MOUNTING SCREW HOLES:

- Remove any excess grease/oil from mounting screws/holes using rag/cotton swab

- Apply Isopropyl alcohol to mounting screws/holes

- Blow off excess alcohol with compressed air if possible or remove with clean rag/cotton swab until dry

INSTALL OPTIC:

- For optics with bottom loading battery ensure battery is loaded into bottom of optic correctly

- For Trijicon RMR or RMRcc insert sealing plate into the optic cut

Note: Sealing plate is not needed when mounting Trijicon RMR to any 10mm/45acp Glock slide except the 30S/36. For the RMRcc sealing plate is only needed for Glock models 43/43x/48

- Insert optic into optic cut and press down to ensure optic is seated flat against bottom of optic cut

Note: For dovetail style mounted optics (ACRO, MPS, 509T) Loosen side mounting screw on optic and pivot optic down into cut with the non mounting screw side dropping in first.

- Apply single very small drop of thread locker to the first 2-3 threads of each screw

- Thread mounting screws into mounting screw holes until snug

-Using inch pound torque driver torque screws to spec found below for the corresponding screw size.

4 - 40 Thread Pitch: 12 Inch/Pounds

5 - 40 Thread Pitch: 14 Inch/Pounds

6 - 32 Thread Pitch: 16 Inch/Pounds

M3 x .5 Thread Pitch: 15 Inch/Pounds

M4 x .7 Thread Pitch: 17 Inch/Pounds

- Ensure optic is seated flat to bottom of cut with no gaps beneath optic

- Allow 24 hours of curing time for thread locker before shooting.
